Think of your brain like a laptop with 47 tabs open. When your “Mental RAM” is maxed out, it becomes harder to focus on recovery, strength, and presence. April is a chance to close some of those tabs.
1. The Digital Dusting
Curate your digital environment. If a social feed is built around comparison or constant pressure, unfollow what does not add value to your goals.
2. The Brain Dump
Get the to-do list out of your head and onto paper. The newsletter suggests spending five minutes on Sunday night writing down everything weighing on your mind, from small errands to training concerns.
3. Close the Open Loops
Choose two five-minute tasks you have been putting off and complete them. Small unfinished tasks can consume more attention than their size suggests.
Wellness win: A cleaner “mental hard drive” can support better focus and a calmer approach to recovery and training.
